IMPACT
Measuring what matters.
Our work is centered on more than providing services. We are committed to creating measurable, lasting impact for children, fathers, families, and the communities they call home.
As our organization grows, we will measure our progress through participation, engagement, family connection, academic outcomes, participant feedback, and access to community resources.
Our impact goals
As we build and expand our programs, we are working toward the following year 1–3 goals:
100+
children served annually
Provide children affected by parental incarceration with access to emotional, educational, relational, and community support.
50+
children in mentorship
Connect at least 50 children with positive mentors who can provide consistent encouragement, guidance, and support.
200+
meaningful family interactions
Facilitate at least 200 family interactions each year through communication opportunities and family engagement activities.
20%+
improvement in academic outcomes
Provide tutoring and educational resources designed to support measurable improvements in academic performance.
85%+
participant satisfaction
Listen to the families and individuals we serve and use their feedback to continually improve our programs and services.
5,000+
community members reached
Increase awareness of the impact of parental incarceration, reduce stigma, and build broader community support for affected families.
Why our approach works
Connection creates stability
Our model is built around the belief that relationships matter. Consistent communication between fathers and children can help preserve emotional bonds despite physical separation, while mentorship and family engagement provide children with additional sources of stability and support.
We support the whole family
Rather than focusing exclusively on children or fathers, our dual-focus model addresses both sides of the parent-child relationship. We support children while equipping fathers to remain active and intentional in their children's lives.
We focus on long-term change
Our approach is relational rather than transactional. Programs are designed to create ongoing engagement—not simply one-time assistance—and to address emotional, relational, educational, and practical barriers that can affect family stability.
Measuring our progress
Accountability is an important part of our work.
We track program participation, family engagement, outcomes, and participant feedback to understand what is working and where we can improve. As our organization grows, we will use this information to evaluate programs, strengthen services, and report transparently to the families, partners, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible.
The impact we hope to create
Our ultimate goal is bigger than any single number.
Restore families
Rebuilding relationships creates greater stability for children and parents and can influence generations to come.
Strengthen communities
Stronger family relationships contribute to healthier, more connected communities.
Change life trajectories
Early, intentional support can help children and parents navigate challenges and create opportunities for more positive long-term outcomes.
Be part of the impact
Lasting change happens when families, communities, volunteers, partners, and supporters work together. Whether it’s by donating, becoming a mentor, volunteering or partnering with us, you can help to make a difference.
